Charles served in WWI and survived but with ‘shell shock’ that affected his health.

Ernest Frederick Oakman, boarder, 20, labourer, born Cherry Hinton

Florence Coleman, boarder, 20, laundress, born Cherry Hinton

Ernest Frederick Oakman private 18473 Suffolk Regiment. 1911 boarding at this address – general labourer. Daughter baptised 3/10/1915 at St John’s. On discharge deemed 25% unfit because of heart problems.
