Grafton Renovations 2017

Grafton Centre, Renovations

The Grafton Centre, on the corner of Burleigh Street and Fitzroy Street, Cambridge, was constructed in the early 1980s. Internally, it has seen many changes with shops coming and going. However, it is only in 2016 that much needed renovations started. These pictures show some stages of the renovation which is not yet complete. The builders say that the new roof will be water-tight. Visitors to the Grafton Centre will no doubt remember the yellow buckets here and there on rainy days.
