In 2025 PB sent this note:
This is my grandad, I believe there was also a baby girl who died as well also of Spanish flu. He was away at war in North Africa and came home to an empty home. I believe a neighbour had to break the news of the loss of his family. Grandad later married Ethel Ann Smith and had 4 children George, Cliff, Barbara and Donald (my Dad). Nan and grandad continued to live at number 19 until 1966 when they both died a few months apart.
