History of 23 Ferry Path

The originally separate cellar beside the main cellar/basement at no 23  was once used for smoking and curing hams.

In 1982 the CWN reported that Simon Young and family had moved into the house when it had only a cold tap in the basement, no bathroom and an outside lavatory. The basement was turned into a hobbies workshop.
