Edgar Norden

Edgar was born at 94, the house he bought from his father for £200. In 1981 he told the CWN (8 Oct) that boys would catch greenfinches and goldfinches and sell them for pocket money. “We used to sell those greenfinches – 1d for a cock bird and 1/2d for the hen.” he was a retired engine driver and prize fuchsia grower.
