School, Burwell

History of the School, Burwell

Burwell Chronicle 26/10/1850: On Thursday night or Friday morning some person or persons entered the British School by false keys and took away the missionary box containing £1 5s; also the children’s working flannel and calico leaving the books thrown around the floor. A reward is offered of three guineas upon conviction of the offenders.
