Herbert John Lowe, grocer

Herbert and Faith Lowe retired in 1971 and took a nine month holiday to Australia where their son was living. Their local friends held a party at no.33 and gave them three travelling cases. (CWN 9.4.1981)

As a result, we are facing a crisis; we have no financial cushion unlike many other museums in Cambridge and are facing the need to drastically cut our operations back.

This could affect our ability to continue to run and develop this groundbreaking local history website. If Capturing Cambridge matters to you, then the survival of the Museum of the Cambridge should matter as well.
