Rebecca Cecelia Hobson née Upchurch moved to no. 82 from no. 54 after her husband William died. Rebecca Hobson died in 1960. (email from SM 2023). Rebecca’s unmarried sister, Violet, also lived at 82. She was domestic servant/companion to an aunt of J B Priestley who lived at Pony Cottage, Buckden.
