Cyril Arthur Thompson: Private, 5830272, 2/5th Battalion, The Queen’s Royal Regt (West Surrey), who died on Sunday 27 February 1944. Age 25. Buried in BEACH HEAD WAR CEMETERY, ANZIO Italy. Son of Cyril Anstace [Eustace] Thompson and Frances Amelia Thompson, of Cambridge.
