Ida E, b 1913, bakery and confectionary shop assistant

Peggy, b 1916, clerk accounting [ARP Teleprinter]

Donald C H, b 1918, public library assistant [AFS part time]

Florence L E, b 1922, clerk junior [ARP telephonist]

Ida married Albert Winter in 1942. Her parents were not too impressed at first that she wanted to marry someone from a poorer part of Cambridge. She worked during the war as a telephone operator beneath either the Corn Exchange or the Guildhall. (Email from CDE 2022)
