1861: unnumbered Horse and Gate

Mary A Reader, widow, 63, publican, b Linton

William Weatherall, brother, widower, 66, carpenter, b Swaffham


James Wisbey moved from the Priory Brewery circa 1874 and took over the Eagle Brewery. The Brewery was short-lived but the Eagle public house remained until 1964. In 1964 an artesian bore hole was discovered which presumably had been the brewery water supply.

The Eagle demolished
