Jack Halls: Sergeant, 748358, 500 Sqdn., Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, who died on Friday 15 August 1941. Age 23. Commemorated on RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL Surrey, United Kingdom. Son of George William and Holly Tryphena Halls; husband of Nora Marion Halls, of Cambridge.

He was flying a Blenheim IV when shot down over the North Sea by a Bf110 while orbiting a dinghy during an ASR sortie.
