History of 4 Portugal Place

Lots 43 in the 1825 sale of the corner plot including the Salutation pub and related buildings had become no. 9 Clement Lane by 1841, later no. 4 Portugal Place.

Lots 42-43 had been part of the garden of Mr Scott.
