Robert W Bell, b 1877, auctioneer valuer surveyor

Robert William Bell, auctioneer, had been found guilty on six counts of fraud in January 1926 and sentenced to 9 months. Bankruptcy proceedings had been started against Bell and the official receiver discovered £1500 which had not been paid out to clients. (Illustrated Police News 28/1/1926)
