History of 8 Regent Street

1814

The widow of Sir Busick Harwood, fellow of Downing, Clara Eliza Harwood, moved here after her husband’s death; it was a Downing College house which she then bought. There is a memorial to her in St Bene’t’s church. (CWN 28.11.1981)
