Stanley Alfred King, Sergeant 1270913, 44 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died on Tuesday 3rd August 1943. No known grave. Commemorated on AIR FORCES MEMORIAL, RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL, Surrey. Panel 156.

In Lancaster Shot Down By A Night Fighter Into the Waddenzee Northwest of Harlingen During A Raid on Hamburg, 1 of the Crew Survived and Was Captured.
