History of 95 Cam Causeway

1939: Squires Ernest Wallace Kempton

Robert Kempton was the son of Squires E W Kempton. He was a private in the Cambridgeshire Regiment who was captured by the Japanese at Singapore. He died on 21/9/1944 when the Japanese transport ship which was taking him to a labour camp in Japan was sunk by a US submarine.
