Frank Cyril Gadsby served as a private in the Cambridgeshire regiment. He was captured by the Japanese at the Battle of Singapore. He died of beriberi at Chungkai, Thailand on 9th July 1943, aged 29. He had been a pupil at the Boys Perse.
