History of the White Horse Inn

The White Horse Inn had been demolished by 1910 and was replaced by three  houses. In the photo are Mr Brown and his family. (See Chesterton – Chesterton Local History Group p.89)

As a result, we are facing a crisis; we have no financial cushion – unlike many other museums in Cambridge – and are facing the need to drastically cut back our operations which could affect our ability to continue to run and develop this groundbreaking local history website.
