Albert Rudolph Frank, b 1872, chemical engineer Dept of Engineering

Elly Braby, b 1885

Paul Lebram, b 1873, physician retired

Margarete Lebram, b 1883

The Lebrams left Germany in the 1930s because of the political threat from the Nazi government. Albert Frank was Margarete Lebram’s brother. They were friends of the Arndt family who left Darmstadt in Germany in 1935 for the same reasons. Uli Arndt visited the Lebrams frequently while he was a student in Cambridge 1942-44.
