This was the home of John S Conder, agricultural builder. In 1911, when aged 36, he was living here with his wife Edith and his son and daughter, Stanley and Winifred.
He was a Liberal councillor representing Cherry Hinton in 1910. When Cherry Hinton became part of the Borough in 1912 its name became Cambridge Without. He did much to procure allotments in Cambridge.

Stanley John Condor, b 1892, was a clerk who became a corporal in the 1/c MGCS Tank Corps. His father seems to have moved to 324 Cherry Road during war.
