1 Lynn Road, Ely

History of 1 Lynn Road

J Will Rignall opened City Studios on Minster Place in 1899. A year later he had merged with Ralph Starr to form Starr and Rignall of Cambridge and Ely. At one time they had studios in Regent Street and Fitzroy Street Cambridge.

The business moved to this location in 1923.
