History of Fordham windmill

Fordham windmill OS 1886

Arthur Houghton describes how he loved to go and inspect the mechanism of the Fordham windmill. In his time, 1912, the miller was Arthur Sore. The mill last worked about 1940 and the cottages were pulled down in 1963.
