The Old Hall, Stuntney

History of the Old Hall

The Old Hall Stuntney, OS 1886

In the 1920s the Hall was home to Cole Ambrose who, it was said, could lie on his back at night and see the stars through holes in the roof. He built a new house and the old hall fell into disrepair.
