Parsonage Farm, Woodditton

History of Parsonage farm

1939

Blanche Lethbridge, b 1874, independent

Rachel Huguet, b 1876

At nearby parsonage Farm lived the mysterious and reclusive Miss Lethbridge together with her Belgian housekeeper. Her Alsatian dogs patrolled the meadow and had a bad reputation. We were convinced they would have you if encountered near the pod. Indeed they once turned on their owner who had to be rescued by men from the the nearby School Cottages.(R H Vincent, A Tanner Will Do)
