1905 This house belonged to Neville Keynes who lived at number 6, father of John Maynard Keynes. Several houses in the area were used for young teachers.

Bertram and Mariana Hopkinson

Alice Hopkinson (Roughton) born

In 1907 the Hopkinson family moved to the newly built 10 Adams Road.

Bertram’s father, John Hopkinson and three of his children, Jack 18, Lina 19, and Alice 23, died in a skiing accident at Arolla in Switzerland in August 1898.
