Mary carries on business on death of husband


1851

Mary remarried a Mr Tilcock and business sold to John Hinde Ekins. John Ekins passed the business on to his son, John, but John the younger died in 1892 aged only 42.


1892

John’s widow, Jessie carried on the business. Succeeded by Ernest Whiting.


1902

W V Hyde took over business. He left for Great Gransden in 1918.
