Bertie Norman:¬†Corporal A/200644, 11th Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps. Died of wounds 30th November 1917 in France & Flanders. Age 27. Born Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, enlisted Cambridge. Husband of Ethel Maud Norman, of 72, Sturton St., Cambridge. Commemorated on CAMBRAI MEMORIAL, LOUVERVAL, Nord, France. Panel 9. See also Cambridge Guildhall and Cambridge St Lukes (Cambridge Gas Roll of Honour) Bertie married Ethel Maud Biggs in 1911. Their sons Donald and Thomas were born in 1913 and 1915.
