Kurt Lipstein

A German born legal scholar of Jewish descent, he emigrated in 1934 to the UK and earned his doctorate at Trinity College in 1936. His parents died at the Theresienstadt concentration camp.

He married Gwyneth Herford in 1944. From 1971 to 1987 she was a councillor on Cambridge City Council.

In 1939 Kurt Lipstein was living at 159 Chesterton Road.
