1931

Herbert Thomas Hockey, estate agent, acquired the whole property and reconverted it back into a single house.


1969

House demolished and replaced with block of town houses. At the time City Councillors Tony Cornell and Mr J M Lennox Cook of Lennox Cook School of English at 75 Barton Road led a campaign to try to save the house. As a result Archway Court preserves the old house but town houses have been built in the garden behind.
