Percival Sudworth joined 2nd Dragoons in 1888. Promoted SSM in 1902. Mentioned in despatches 29/7/1902. Granted D.C. medal 21.11.1902. During the Boer War he served at Paardeberg, Dreifontain, Johannesburg, Dinmond Hill, Belfast and the relief of Kimberley. In 1908 posted to Mounted Unit Cam. University Officer Training. Appointed Warrant officer 2nd Class in 1914. During WWI based at Scottish Cavalry Depot. Died 16/1/1919 of heart failure at Canterbury.
