Arthur Rutt spent all his working life at Eden Lilley and had become the manager of their funeral department by the time of his retirement in 1932.

Arthur Rutt was previously at Hollydene, Tenison Road.


1939:

Arthur William Rutt, b 1871, funeral director

Hepzibah née Aves, , b 1882 Lode

Monica G Rutt, b 1919, teacher of dancing

Geoffrey Logan Rutt, b 1920, college student

The family had a cleaner, Ellen Peel. She was a family friend and lived at 55 Great Eastern Street.
