Francis Glisson

Glisson Road, Cambridge

History of Glisson Road

Francis Glisson was a very distinguished doctor, born in 1597 and matriculating at Gonville and Caius in 1617. In 1636 appointed Regius Professor of Physic, which he held to his death in 1677.
