1908: CIP 29.5.1908: Fire in Gwydir Street. Outbreak of fire at number 17. Mr D Legge occupied ground floor and Mrs Sainty the upper rooms. Fire started in Mrs Sainty’s bedroom where the bedding and window frames were on fire. Damage of £10, uninsured.
