History of South Street
South Street is a road that disappeared with the development of the Anglia Ruskin University site. It originally ran in between and parallel with Bradmore and Broad Streets.

1950 OS map of South Street and Bradmore Street: the photo above was taken from black college building next to the capital S of ‘Schools” looking west down back alley between South and Bradmore Streets.
In 1913 on the north side were nos. 1-55 and on the south side nos. 2 – 64.
