60 Sturton Street

History of 60 Sturton Street

1913:

James Baker, compositor

1918:

James Baker died 14.11.1918 aged 80. An inquest was held which determined that he had been knocked down by a bike and injured on 8.10.1918 but that his condition has been exacerbated by congestion of the lungs. This was probably connected with influenza.
