James Finch, 52, farm of 50 acres plumber and victualler, b Soham


1861: Fountain Inn

James Finch, 63, farm of 50 acres employing 3 men 1 boy, b Soham


1871: Fountain Inn

James Finch, 72, plumber painter and brewer, b Soham


1880: brewery closed when James Finch retired.


1881: Fountain Inn

James Finch, 56, publican and plumber, b Cottenham

Ann, 52, dressmaker, b Cottenham

M Ellen Tall, 31, dressmaker, b Cottenham

George Mansfield, lodger, 25, labourer, b Cottenham


1891: Fountain Inn

Jonathan Piggott, 41, builder, b Cottenham


1901:

John H Smith, 64, inn keeper pub, b Cottenham


1911:

Herbert Kimpton, 31, farm labourer, b Cottenham

Herbert Kimpton was killed in WWI. His widow kept the pub open until 1919.
