56 Church Street, Haslingfield

History of 56 Church Street

Listed building:

Cottage. Early C19 and mid C20 additions at rear. Timber-framed, plaster rendered and clunch on brick plinth. Longstraw thatch roof.


This is an example of the later clunch buildings. Built on a triangular piece of common land, the house behind, Spring Cottage is in line with the original road frontage.
