Porkers Lane, Haslingfield

History of Porkers Lane

The footpath from Haslingfield to the River Cam was called Porkers Lane. At the river there are concrete bases of an old bridge. This was a beauty spot shown on postcards.

The old river course was in the field, with a mill, called ‘Burnt Mill Bridges’.
