Barn, Landbeach 5.6.1974 (MoC65/75)

The barn stands in Green End, between North Farm and Old Beach Farm. In 1974 it was in a poor state of repair.

In 1899 a fire had destroyed W D Greenhall’s wheelwright shop and stables.

As a result, we are facing a crisis; we have no financial cushion – unlike many other museums in Cambridge – and are facing the need to drastically cut back our operations which could affect our ability to continue to run and develop this groundbreaking local history website.
