Michael Rouse, Cambridge in Early Postcards (1978), writes:
Mr E W Morley of Linton, who was born in 1889 and managed the Post office in the village for forty-one years, was at a remarkably early age an entrepreneur in picture postcard photography and publishing.
This shop was owned by E W Morley himself.

E W Morley sold newspapers to the troops on manoeuvres near Cambridge in 1912.King George V came to Linton to view the spectacle.
