Cottages off Town Green Road, Orwell

History of Cottages

in 1978 it was reported that a cottage in Town Green Road, thought to have been built in the 17th century had been dated at 1540. Two original fireplaces had been uncovered along with Tudor beams and windows. It was due to be demolished but the decision was made to restore it.
