High Street, Rampton

History of the High Street, Rampton

Rampton 1901 OS map

The 1851 census starts at the west end of Rampton High Street. The houses appear to be numbered consecutively but it is most likely that the enumerator has simply copied the schedule number into this column. However he has usefully written the name of the property in this column.

This list is actually the entire list of Rampton households in 1851. So, although the list starts on the High Street, it must also include other properties.
