1875 Geeson’s Flood. A Geeson was drowned rescuing people from the chapel.


Swavesey drum and fife band formed in 1885. Uniforms paid for by concerts and public subscription. But by time uniforms delivered, bandmaster had left the village and band disbanded (Alan Lee Swavesey collection)
