reported in press that Miss Rachael Hymus aged 79 who lodged with Ernest Webb at Heydon Villa had died from a cold after a period in which she refused to see a doctor.

Tom Cecil Marriott, corporal in Labour Corps. A joiner and carpenter, he enlisted March 1916.


In July 1939 Mr F T Bowyer of this address came 2nd in the RSPCA animal photo competition. He won 10s.
