64 Glebe Road, Shilton

History of 64 Glebe Road

1935

George Newman

From conversation with the current owners in 2016 it seems that the present house, 64a, is on the location of the original 64 but may not be the original house. The current house is similar in design to no. 70 Holbrook Road and is reminiscent of the Arts and Craft architectural style.

The location of bungalow that was 64, but has now in 2016 been demolished and replaced by a block of flats, was once the site of tennis courts belonging to the original 64.
