Arthur Frederick William Hughes, MA PhD

Born in 1908, Medvei’s History of Endocrinology says the following: Hughes studied zoology at Cambridge, obtaining his Ph.D. in 1934. From 1933 to 1951 he was Sir Halley Stewart Research Fellow at the Strangeways Research Laboratory at Cambridge. He died in 1975 as Professor Emeritus at Case Western Reserve University at Cleveland Ohio.
