1913:

Herbert Merryweather, tobacconist and confectioner


Victor George Merryweather, and his mother Ellen Merryweather née Toynton, before him, ran the shop until the advent of the supermarkets in the 1960s. He then went on to work at Cambridge University Anatomy Department.

G L Sandell, grocer
