122 Ross Street

History of 122 Ross Street

1918: CDN 29.4.1918: Pte F Archer: Pte Archer ASC Motor Transport second son of Mrs Archer of St Albans (late of 122 Ross Street Cambridge), died in hospital in Birmingham of wounds received in action on April 5th. Pte Archer was well known in Cambridge having been for some time previous to the war with Mr F Dale the Brewery Gwydir Street. He had served with the Motor Transport ASC for three years.

There was a planning dispute between builder Ken Doggett of nos. 124 and 126, and other residents in the road.
