Alfred Barker, passenger guard GER

Rifleman Sidney Reginald Frederick Barker 6th London Regiment killed in action September 1918. His Captain writing in that month stated that he had reason to believeRifleman Barker was a prisoner of war. He added: “He was a Lewis gunner and a very good soldier. You have the pleasure of knowing he did his duty manfully and well and I am sure that you are proud of him.” Mrs Caroline Barber would be glad of any information concerning her son.
